Conventional Bandages
The typical bandages that are placed on incisions do not provide any bridging capabilities. Direct pressure is applied to the wound when sitting, sleeping or driving. Shortly after a surgery the immediate area around the wound becomes inflamed and is sensitive to the touch.
Protection and Comfort
PRADS have medical adhesive attached so they can be applied directly over a bandage for additional comfort and protection. They also can be applied directly to skin once the original dressings are allowed to be removed. PRADS are designed specifically to bridge incisions and are soft so they can be worn comfortably.
